In addition to our wrap around care RNSF also offer a wide range of focused after school clubs usually running between 3.15pm and 4.15pm (unless otherwise stated). The after school club provision changes termly and our current offer for the first half of the Autumn Term 2019 commencing week beginning 2nd September 2019: –
Rode Methodist First School
Monday – The Bif Club Paddington Class are invited to a free club on a Monday after they have finished their lunch. It will take place in the Rainbow Room next door to their classroom. It is called ‘The Bif Club’ and it will be led by Sue (our Parish Children and Family Worker) with help from Bif the puppet. Each week Sue will explore a different Bible story with Bif’s help and make something linked to the story or play a game. The club will finish with a prayer and then outside for 15 minutes play before afternoon class begins.
Monday – Creative Gardening Club with Sarah Playden:- flower & vegetable growing, nature based arts & crafts, composting, insect identification, maybe a bit of wood work… There is a cost of £4.75 per week. Runs until 4.30pm
Tuesday – Football Club run by I G Sports Coaching – A fun based football session in which they will develop their skills through imaginative football games. The children will also enjoy coached match time at the end of every session!
Thursday –Lightning Kids (formerly Performing Arts Club) run by Zoe Manifold- Please note this club is in high demand.
Norton St Philip C of E First School
Monday – Safari Sports run by I G Sports Coaching – A fun animal themed sports session. The main focus of the session is for the children to improve their fundamental movement skills (agility, balance and co-ordination) through fun and imaginative games.
Wednesday – Football Club run by I G Sports Coaching – A fun based football session in which they will develop their skills through imaginative football games. The children will also enjoy coached match time at the end of every session!
