In addition to our wrap around care our schools also offer focused after school clubs usually running between 3.00/3.15pm and 4.00/4.15pm (unless otherwise stated). Unless indicated, please express your interest with the school office. Clubs need to be re-booked each half term, they don’t roll over. This is to give each child a chance to book on.
Our after-school club provision changes each term. Our offer for the Autumn Term 2026 is outlined below, and all clubs will commence from Monday 7 September 2026.
Please note that children joining Reception in September will not be eligible to attend after-school clubs during their first term. This allows them time to settle into school life and adjust to their new routines.
Rode Methodist First School
- Monday 1-2pm Drumming £7.75 per session shared, £15.50 per session individual, with Chris large. Open to Year 2, 3 & 4. Limited to 12 children, sessions are 20 minutes long. Please book directly with Somerset Music somersetmusic@somerset.gov.uk
- Monday 3-4pm Art Club £5 per session, with Helen Elkin-Stay. Open to Year 2, 3 & 4. Limited to 12 children.
- Tuesday 1-4pm LAMDA £7.50 per session,with Stephanie Harrison. Limited to 15 children, sessions are 30 minutes long. LAMDA stands for: London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art. In each session, they work on voice, articulation, reading poems, presentation skills and Drama games. They also work towards a LAMDA exam every March (optional) where they have to perform a chosen poem in front of a friendly examiner. Please book directly with Stephanie contact@stephanieharrison.me

- Wednesday 1-2pm Girls Lunchtime Football £3.50 per session, with Martin Phillips; ex premier league EFL player & UEFA B Coach; Limited to 16 children
- Wednesday 3-4pm, Football Club £6.50 per session, with Martin Phillips. Limited to 16 children.
- Thursday 12 – 2pm Piano £15 per session, with Leana Green. Open to Years 2, 3 & 4. Limited to 6 children. Sessions are 20 minutes long.

- Friday 12.30-2.30pm Guitar Lessons £7.50 per session, with Danny Green. Open to Years 2, 3 & 4 Limited to 12 children.
Norton St Philip C of E First School
- Tuesday 3:15 – 4:00pm Art Club £5 per session, with Ella Clogstoun who will create a space for kids to grow in confidence creatively and experiment with lots of different materials. This club will have an emphasis on child led creativity and encourage kids to express their own ideas freely. Please book directly with Ella at ellacaraclogstoun@hotmail.co.uk
- Tuesday 3:15 – 4:00pm Gardening Club £4 per session, with Maxine Walker, limited to 8 children. This is a seasonal club and will only run until the October half term.
- Thursday 3.15-4.15pm Football Club £6.50 per session, with Martin Phillips; ex premier league EFL player & UEFA B Coach. Limited to 14 children
Please note, If you decide to stop clubs mid way through the term; full payment is due unless we can fill your child’s space. For music lessons and LAMDA; sessions are progressive and require a half terms notice to opt out.
Children in receipt of Free School Meals or families on low income may qualify for help from the school, with the costs of after school clubs. Please contact the school office on info@rnsf.co.uk, confidentially for further details.
