17 Jun Year 3’s Brilliant Bristol Adventure!
Year 3 had a fantastic time on their recent trip to Bristol, and what a success it was! The children enjoyed a rich and varied educational experience, starting with a respectful and eye-opening visit to a local Mosque, followed by an afternoon discovering the fascinating history and culture at the M Shed on Bristol’s iconic harbour side. Throughout the day, every adult accompanying the trip was full of praise for the children’s impeccable behaviour, thoughtful questions, and kind attitudes. They approached each part of the visit with curiosity and enthusiasm, making the most of every opportunity to learn and explore. A key takeaway from the day was the children’s developing understanding of different beliefs and the shared values that unite us. They reflected thoughtfully on the importance of community, kindness, and respect — recognising that, while we may come from different backgrounds, we’re all more similar than we are different. We are incredibly proud of how the children represented our school – they were true ambassadors, and we’re grateful to have such a wonderful group of learners.
