25 Nov Trip to Bradford on Avon
On Tuesday morning, BFG’s, LFG’s and Wild Things Classes braved the elements with a smile on their faces and a spring in their steps to visit the picturesque and historic town of Bradford On Avon. Having previously looked at a map of the area to be investigated they didn’t let chilly fingers, noses and toes deter them from spotting a variety of human and physical features and making comparisons with the village of Rode.
Theo Hall in BFG has written a recount of the trip.
“On the day of the school trip we went to Bradford on Avon for an exciting time. When we got there we parked at the train station and when we walked out we saw a fire station, a pharmacy and a fast food truck. After walking across St Margaret’s Street we saw a museum and a library. Next we went over McKeever Bridge and took a quick picture of the churches. When walking through The Shambles we went through a tunnel and when we came out it was snowing! Before coming back to school, we visited the park and the canal and then made our way back to the bus.”
