BFG children and Dramakarma year 3 children were treated to a free trip to the Lucky Chance Theatre in Frome. Their adventure started by spending the morning working in an upstairs classroom at Vallis, so they could walk to the theatre later. They bravely explored the climbing frames at break time and had lunch in a much bigger hall. After lunch, we walked along Catherine Hill towards the theatre ready to see Dylan Thomas’ ‘A Child’s Christmas in Wales’. The acting was truly fabulous, each performer brought an infectious energy to the stage, capturing both the humour and heart of the classic tale. But the real joy came from the moments of playful interaction woven throughout the show. Children in the audience lit up with excitement as snowballs sailed through the air and colourful balloons bounced across the crowd. Their laughter echoed throughout the theatre, adding an extra layer of magic to the afternoon.
